Array ( [sid] => 2282 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => V-----'s Song [time] => 2002-08-14 13:06:44 [hometext] => Another one about my favorite girl in the whole wide world. As a matter of fact, this was the first song i wrote about her, hence the name in the title, but she's had such a profound effect on my life that probably half of my other songs are also about my love, V------. [bodytext] => Little butterfly laying eggs on a caterpillar.
Little butterfly laying eggs on a caterpillar.
Little butterfly laying eggs on a caterpillar.
Little butterfly laying eggs on a caterpillar.

Chorus:
Little caterpillar, eating at some leaves.
Little caterpillar, wonder what it sees.
Little caterpillar, with beer-colored eyes,
Little caterpillar, we’re all gonna die.

See the little children playing in the yard,
Blowing little bubbles, sure it isn’t hard.
Watch as the wind takes the bubbles all away,
To the place where the little caterpillars play.

Repeat Chorus

Watch the bubbles float to where the caterpillar hides,
Watch as the soap gets in the caterpillar’s eye,
Watch as the beer coloring goes away
As the little bug finally sees the light of day.

Repeat Chorus

The little bug is blinded by the bright sun-rays,
No longer shielded from the light of day.
Watch the caterpillar see the evil in the world,
As she melts her soul down into a crying little girl.

Then a little boy sees the tiny bug crying.
“My hero has arrived.” The caterpillar sings.
Watch as the boy gives the little bug a kiss,
And then turns and walks away, forever to be missed.

The boy shortly returns with a present in his hand,
A magnifying glass from the little boy’s homeland.
The caterpillar screams as the bright beam hits her eye,
And the boy becomes the last thing she sees before she dies.

What a sweet song, how true, children sometimes
need to be taught the beauty of nature,
