I remembered today, when you would wake to share my night
The warmth of a thousand smiles,touched me deep inside
Then the bitter tears fell,as I slipped back to reality
Looking at the clock,I wondered how much longer it would be

I leave myself no spare moments,for I think of you in these times
As often before, left open again,knowing you'll never be mine
Precious few are my heartfelt words,yet they hold the hurt in me
Surely I will find my peace,but how much longer will it be

Each day like an ongoing poem,that has no journeys end
Nor does it hold the rhythmic beauty,seems I've lost the will to pen
Only sadness can spill onto the pages,my tears are all I can see
How much longer do I need to hurt,before my heart will set you free [comments] => 8 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 22 [informant] => LovingWhispers [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
