[hometext] => Another silly song of mine. This one is my attempt at country music.
[bodytext] => I was crippled on the day that I met you.
I saw you looking at me with your pretty eyes. I couldn’t stop staring at you, you’re so beautiful, and that’s what caused my demise. My mama done told me ‘bout a million times “Make sure the hook is clear before you cast.” But on that day, my cautions merely slipped my mind, and now my life of walking’s in my past. It would have been the perfect cast, if only I had looked. But by the time I realized my leg was hooked, I’d already tripped, and fallen over my tackle box, and into the lake with the sharks. I clung onto that pole the very best I could, and I sure know I was in a lot of pain. Imagine the embarrassment of when my legs came off, and shouts and screaming shot into my brain. The paramedics rescued me, and I done healed up quick, but life sure sucks when you ain’t got no legs. And so my Lord, I hope that you can hear this call, and bring me back that woman, God, I begs. I was crippled on the day that I met you. I saw you looking at me with your pretty eyes. I couldn’t stop staring at you, you’re so beautiful, and that’s what caused my demise. It would have been the perfect cast, if only I had looked. But by the time I realized my leg was hooked, I’d already tripped, and fallen over my tackle box, and into the lake with the sharks. And into the lake, with the sharks.
