All the feelings I'm having! [bodytext] => To my last child,
whos on the way,
Theres just so much,
mommy needs to say,
I know you must feel,
the pain I feel inside,
I'm sorry little one,
I just want to hide,
Mommy just wasnt really ready for this,
but your little face I wouldnt miss,
It just came to us as a surprise,
thats why theres tears in my eyes,
I guess it hurts me,
I'll tell you why,
Your Omas not here,
to see your little eyes,
you'll never really see her,
or hear her voice,
like the other grandkids,
who charished the choice,
So to my little daughter or son,
please understand,
its not that I didnt want to reach for your hand,
Just so much has happened,
and soon you will see,
mommy & daddy knows you were meant to be,
I know you were a blessing from God above,
while growing inside me,
We send you our love! [comments] => 11 [counter] => 329 [topic] => 5 [informant] => LOWMAN613 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 1 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChildrensPoetry )

I hope your son or daughter is as beautiful as your poem. He, or she, is blessed to have two parents that love them unconditional. Hope your child brings upon a world of inspiration for your future poems. Congratulations!

Christina, this brought tears to my eyes, for more than one reason... this is truly beautiful...and I'm sure your baby knows he/she is loved by you both, even tho you were not ready, as you say. He/she will learn of the love of your Mom from the boys....
Hugs,
Jenni

What a beautiful tribute. It is funny how
sometimes surprises turn out to
be something you did not know that
you wanted . Beautiful write and
congratulations for being blessed with
bringing another little voyager into
the world.

It's those lil' surprises that bring us the greatest rewards! Best to you!!!
