O Seeing Fire, knower of all things, magnificent in my mind
Like jets of light let thy keen energies of flames devour
darkness and sinful thoughts all at once.
O Bright One, these separate fires of thine
that kindled are seen like rays of the Dawn
in the space of my heart.
Make your foundation consuming twigs and flowers.
In the waters, O Fire is thy seat, thou besieged the plants;
became a child in the womb and as Sun thou hast born.
O Fire, thy rays as cows grazing my thoughts are now giving
the nectarine milk of blissful love.
O Fire, I have come to thee with golden lotuses seeking
thy grace as thou bear the divine bliss
O Fire, thou art kindled by one who is illumined at heart.
Do thou give thousand-fold wealth and manifold forces.
O brilliant Sun of golden chariot drew by seven horses
pure in the law of thy workings, take pleasure in this hymn.
In thinkers the illumined seers urged by their thoughts
invoke thee to dwell in their hearts to attain glory of heaven.
Thou art the Lord who looks with equal eyes on all the peoples
of many lands; we call thee in many of our battles.
Pray the Fire who fed with pouring of clarities blazed wide
May He hear our call and smite away the foes and evil doers
I pray this Fire, the marvelous king of the peoples
who presides over the laws of all actions,
who illumines the universal life like a male horse
urged to its gallop, so I speed like a racer to my goal.
O Fire, shine out with keen flames in the space of my heart.
Most luminous Sun born in the heaven becomes
aware of my words
May we be those who have the right thought and vision divine
through all the days, pass safely beyond the danger and
Oh, Brilliant Sun put forth thy forces to slay darkness anon
the gift of thine, the splendorous light and wisdom
desirable wealth which never fails, we seek from thee O Sun!
To thee I offer my thoughts as clarified butter, O Brilliant one
now awake me to the knowledge of heavens and immortals.
Let all that alien and hostile be rent asunder through this hymn!

"I seek not thy refuge for the sake of gain,
Nor fear of thee, not for the love of fame
Not as thou hailest from the solar race
Not for the sake of gaining knowledge vast
Bt drawn by the power of the boundless love
And thy all-embracing peerless ken,
The vast sea of Samsara now safe to cross
I bend low, O Lord, and become thy devotee."

Fear inspiring, yet with grace, Venkat.
Beautiful prayer. I'm not sure I understand, but your enthusiasm makes up for that
Lovely write.
