I'm Crying Smiles...

Contributed by LovingWhispers on Wednesday, 3rd September 2003 @ 06:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Why do thoughts of you, bring such tears
This foolish woman needs to know...
The sadness lingers after each ~ Good Night~
Yet she knows she loves you so

I slow dance with the many thoughts
All the feelings deep inside...
So tender are the moments together
Yet still my smiles are cried

Could the aching need, the yearning within
Be a sign from the heavens above
That sunshine also comes with rain
And this sorrow be the warmth of love

Like the missing when you don't call
Or the laughter when you do
Whatever the reason, what a wonderful fall
Into the arms of you...

What has me lie awake at night
Talking as though you are here
Why do the tears follow the smiles
When I hold our good times near

Could it be that this my sadness
Is the song of a half moons need
To be complete,though creating madness
Love is confusing indeed

Love those lines! Yes, love is strange, sometimes it's downright confusing as hell. But it can bring the sweetest moments, so in the end it's worth it. Great poem.

Great write. =o)

Love is confusing indeed
Sometimes it makes you bleed
But would we know the meaning of laughter
If we didn't cry soon after?

Dear Loving Whispers,
How right you are, tis like hanging upside down from a star.
Much tribulation in the flesh we feel...
And so many times for us we can't deal!
But there's always more good than bad....
even though sometimes it may seem sad!
Beautiful, lovely poem I enjoyed that very much. The ups and downs of love....

Loving poetic words.

"Could it be that this my sadness
Is the song of a half moons need
To be complete, though creating madness
Love is confusing indeed"
