Butterfly

Contributed by VampiricSuccubus on Tuesday, 2nd September 2003 @ 05:25:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I saw a butterfly today
blue and black
then it flew away
Looked to the sky today
Saw a cloud
of white and grey
And thought "What a cheery day"
I thought of you today
And I hope you never run away

My butterfly stayed that day
But one day you ran away
only to return
You are as beautiful as my butterfly
Prolific inspiration in my life
The knight of love
Bringing Joy into my life

You're as peaceful as a butterfly
Only looking for the life-giving Nectar
Hating war and all it's hurt
Giving what you have
Even the shirt
upon your back
just trying to cut some slack
To most who don't give a jack
You love like the peaceful butterfly

Fly to the sky
Love like you'll never die
Take some time to cry
Just be like the butterfly
You just look at the world and sigh
I look at the world and cry
Never be afraid to fly

You came to me today
And I thought that
I would die
For you it's nothing to fly
to just spread your wings
Your a free soul
Just sing for life
Never regret any might

You forgive me like the butterfly
for the hurt brought into your world
