Love Life

Go ahead and take that knife
Slide it over your wrists
Cut deep enough and
It’s all over
Cut too shallow
You’ll bleed away the pain
Cry to your love
Make them yours
Don’t hurt them
Save them from their pain
Have you bled out the pain yet?
OOPS! Open another wound
Your pain isn’t gone yet
Keep working Child
Your pain will soon be gone
Find what you feed upon
It’s love
You almost lost him
YOU STUPID IDIOT
He’s all you’ve got
The only thing…
The love you feel
It comes from him
The fighting’s over
Why isn’t your pain gone?
So you make another cut
Careful… not too deep,
It’s not your time to die
Spread your blood on the paper
Good Child
Kiss him softly
Show him your gentle passion
Save yourself for him
No more lovers for you
You know he loves you
He now wears your ring,
Make sure he wears it forever
You never want to lose him
Him who gives you his heart to repair
Do you want another cut?
Please say no Child
It’s time to sleep,
You’ll see him tomorrow
Make gentle love to him
Make a love to remember
He’s yours
Don’t hurt him
Love him for life
Your ready…

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
