[bodytext] => On a cold summer's night A lonely lovers' fight Breaks the silence He just wants to be heard She needs to be assured No one's convinced And as her tear falls She pretends to stand tall She knows he's becoming her downfall And if nobody ever says "I'm sorry" The things he says become her bedtime story And if he won't stand up straight and be a man She'll start to wonder if she should have ran He can't take it anymore Feels like she's been here before How did a perfect love become a war? Too many promises Bind her, making her his She can't let go The endless frustration Knows no consolation Does her love show?
