I can´t bare to see that face,
Shut all the curtains, turn off all the lights,
No one can see if it´s dark in this place.

If we´re ever at a river or the like,
Send ripples through the calm,
Don´t let the natural distortion of my being
Be what disturbs the tranquil charm.

Black out all the roads and walls,
My shadow´s just another part of this curse.
If you ever catch me with a shard of broken window in my hand,
Please, no one call a nurse.

This reflection haunts my memories,
My dreams are tainted too,
But don´t try to fix me,
There is nothing you can do. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 191 [topic] => 32 [informant] => M [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

This was very well written and I liked the rhyme scheme. I wish you and Lucie didn't have to feel so much pain, but to know I am a part of that it kills me. I wish I could take it all away... I really mean that.

This is one of the most beautiful poems I've read. Your true feelings bleed through your words like wine. Pain never lasts forever.
