[title] => Girl, Gardener, Mother (The Daisies)

[hometext] => A poem about girlhood, womanhood and femininity (new territory for me, let me know how i did).
[bodytext] => The daisies seem different this year. Wipe your eyes and the period from the screen. Blow away the letters with the wind, And plant them and your feet. Plant them firm and take root In your new hope and faith. Feel the wind in your hair and the wind in your face. It feels good. You stand now on your own, All grown up, little girl. But still you draw health from nature’s breast. And you grow. You grow to the heavens, and fall to the ground. You’ve got breasts of your own now, girl, And it’s your turn to play mother And feed nature.
