I wonder if we heal. [bodytext] => Wounds, how much can our hearts take,
is there room for one more disaster
enough strength for one more love lost.

Does time heal? are hearts just salved
over by previous tears lying in wait
to break open and bleed.

Are we mended, when we welcome the dark,
the ouiet, the urgency to be alone.

Wounds, a name or reference can rip
them open again.

I have heard be careful what you say,
it could be another man`s heartache.

How do we pad ourselves to face each day.

heartwrenching, Crow....in answer I would say, we never heal, Crow....we adjust as we continue on our way!
I wish we could pad ourselves, especially our hearts....we soon learn to have thick skin....but can't let our hearts grow grim....
Each day is a test Crow of our resilency...
For in each day that we live.....there will be another test for you and me.....but one nice thing we can conclude.....with each one we are alittle stronger to face the others we can't elude!
Warm love,
Wonderful poetry, Crow

very thoughtful write. Enjoyed it.

Time is a healer yes indeed
Depending on how deep is the seed
Some wounds may never mend
Some we cannot comprehend
Just leave them behind
And move along my friend.

Crow-
Wonderful, wonderful...I truly understand what you are saying in this poem. The question is how much can our hearts take?...and you've mastered all those questions beautifully. Wonderful and powerful poem. Great job!
