Well I'm sure that stamp of strong disapproval
will scare them out of coming back!
Well I have another idea that would be just
as effective ,so let's think about it just for fun.
Why don't we just sneak up to their front door,
then ring the doorbell and run!
The war is over and yet every day more and more soldiers are mysteriously dying.
I am very much the patriot but the flag does
little to sop up the tears flowing from those
left behind and crying.
What happened to the promise of "no occupation" because it seems our soldiers
are now the police.
I always thought that an end to a war
signaled the beginning of calm and peace.

You write it well, you write it lean
I know exactly what you mean,
The end of war is in the mind,
The question is, whose mind's behind?
