[title] => Who Decides Anyway?
[time] => 2003-08-21 17:25:00
[hometext] => This is a freeform poem, so don't think it is much, but it is about life, and the power of the mind.
[bodytext] => Who Decides Anyway? We sit here and discuss music or poetry, but who decides what is music or poetry? They say there is a man who came up with a formula for writing music (this is true) Well, he cannot be much of a musician, because you see, music and poetry come from the heart... It is not some stupid formula, or a game, it is time well spent, but who am I to decide whether it is true or not? Shakespeare wrote many plays, which revolved around characters that suck you into the story. It is so surreal that you almost think that it could've been a true story. Who Decides what life is? How do we know that life is not some game that god is playing? The game of life... Sure he gave us life, and he gave us enough skill and fortune, which is the brain, to survive, but he can take it right away can't he? Decisions and DECISIONS are completely different. Decisions are small... What are you eating for breakfast for tomorrow... You know, that kind of question is a decision, but DECISIONS are "Am I going to get in that car with him, after he drank," Because that is a life changing decision. Who decides? You decide. You decide whether 12,000 people are going to die today or 12,001 people are going to die today, and as that one life may not be much out of 12,000, I'm sure that those who pray, pray for health and well being of themselves and the people around them... You decide.
