Array ( [sid] => 22145 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Ballad [time] => 2003-08-20 18:05:00 [hometext] => [bodytext] => We made love for the first time,

when we were just teenagers.

At that time, "My Love," you said,

you would never run away!

We could not live separately in this world.

We dated together for a long time...

and everyone would envy us.

Then you secretly ask me to marry you..

But I saw the girl,

your parents wanted you to marry instead!

Through out those long years,

they were assuring us,

that they would not interfer with our love...

But, my darling, that time I said, "No!"

I even ran away broken hearted.

I gave you up without a fight!

So, helplessly you stood there in the rain...

You were unhappy and so hurt!

You covered your face with the palms of your hands,

So that I could not see you cry!

In your normally merry face,

was seen pure pain!

My darling, I so much wished

both of our families could see our wedding.

I did not see you then,

But the memories remain in my heart.

Then I secretly sneaked to see,

the woman, with whom your destiny would be.

Full of sorrow you were looking

to see if I would appear.

I'm not sure if you saw me.

Since your wedding,

you've daily brought me,

a red rose and put it behind the door.

I did not want to see you,

Nor open my heart, for it was bleeding,

And in great pain!

You continued to bring me the rose,

every morning, and ,

Suddenly, you were an old man.!

I was an old lady!

It was that morning,

that you brought the ten thousandth rose...

I wanted to open the door,

but you were too fast for me!

You were already standing in the street.

I rushed out, we heard a big thud!

I had fallen in the street.

Forgive me, my darling..forgive me...

The car I had not seen!

You turned back looking so scared,

and immediately ran to me.

for the last time!

You gently took me in your arms,

and in your eyes and face...

was something very loving.

I knew then, that through out our whole life,

You had never stopped longing for our love!

Before I breathed my last breathe...I told you....

"I have never married,

I am really so sorry, for now I must leave.

Please hold me tight, for the very last time!"

Then suddenly, I awakened....

I was crying, to find how very cruel

this dream had been,

and I hoped it would never come true.

I wished our life could have been different.

You then asked me out for a date....

Then you asked for my hand in mrriage!

You said, "I love you, will you marry me?

Let's marry secretly.....and then come back

telling them all...

We want to live together for the rest of our life....

And I said, "Yes!"
