been a long week. [bodytext] => He might tell you of the hardened
life he had.

The pain, the suffering
the wars he had lived through.

May I speak of the children?
beautiful now, the thought he held.

A hard fought battle again.

Seventy in years, a frail man
lies in the street, blood on his lips.

The last hard battle done.

There are tears in my eyes knowing this,
as I gather the frail man`s scattered gifts.

Fate passing through on its deadly run,
or God`s hands at work again.

A bitter cold wind blows not in the night,
but somewhere inside me.... Crow [comments] => 13 [counter] => 221 [topic] => 39 [informant] => crow [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )

No need to question your God, Crow...
for with bad things he just won't know....
He is kind, and loving and understanding too
He loved that old man just like you.....

Time and unforeseen occurances befall us all.....It wasn't your God that let. him fall....
He was old and frail.....and and his age was old.......unforeseen occurrence was befall.
'Twill happen to us all!
Loving your beautiful poems, Crow.

these things make me stand each morning
into the sun and prepare. every sense you have could be taken that day, makes me aware of my own mortality. how small I am
