tearing through my heart
comes quickly out of nowhere
destroying all that's in it's way
decaying my thoughts
until they're cold and black
killing me silently, invisibly
hopelessness and despair
rapidly taking the wheel
running over the happiness
that dominated my mind
tears gracefully dance upon my cheeks
i turn my head 'fore anyone sees
a fool i was to ever think
anything better than anguish
was what's in store for me
my arms in desperation
reach both far and wide
hoping for something to hold onto
before becoming caught in the undercurrent
suffocating beneath the toxic waves
my body gives in to the eternal rest
the struggle just increase the suffering
so i let go of all hopes and dreams
and i see my carrion as i slowly drift away [comments] => 3 [counter] => 183 [topic] => 13 [informant] => xxmonstahxx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
