Array ( [sid] => 21763 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => DADDY [time] => 2003-08-11 17:35:00 [hometext] => i saw my dad and there life is like what i had hoped mine would be with him and my mom. even though i know that they will NEVER love eachother again i still pray for it. [bodytext] => i came to see you today
it turned out you didnt want me to stay
but i met my nana too
she was so sweet unlike you

your new wife was like trailer trash
the whole weekend she was smashed
my brothers were nice
but i hope they dont have to pay the price

i wondered why you dont love me
and when i asked you
you said you werent a part of me
and i guess it was true

i had flash backs of you hitting me
and my scars started to burn
and i screamed in fear tht youd hit me
and i was scared it was their turn

i didnt wanna leave
but you said i had to go
i wish that we could be
like families on a T.V show.

So sad~! I know what it is like not to have your father. My parents divorced when I was 3. He married again and had more children but we were the ones forgotten. He died when I was 10 so life without him became easier simply because he had passed, and then I knew without a doubt he wasn't staying away for some other reason. Bless you~! Bless all who have an absent parent for whatever reason~!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
