Lord you are the light, my strength, my love,
I one day look forward to joining you in Heaven above.
But for now I must continue my life here on earth,
Telling others of your love, and carry out your work.
But there are days I struggle to carry my head high,
As I watch this troubled world pass me by.
I feel I haven’t the stomach to handle much more,
Though I don’t know the plan you have in store.
Lord give me the strength to carry out your plan,
Mold me to be the right kind of man.
Help me touch the lives of people in need,
That I’d be able to plan the seed.
To lead them to your heavenly path,
To be a servant to you is all I ask.
Strengthen me Lord, give me a heart of steel,
So I can continue to carry out your will.
Let my work be pleasing to you,
Until my life on earth is through

Lord Give Me Strength

Lord you are the light, my strength, my love,
I one day look forward to joining you in Heaven above.
But for now I must continue my life here on earth,
Telling others of your love, and carry out your work.
But there are days I struggle to carry my head high,
As I watch this troubled world pass me by.
