Array ( [sid] => 21657 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => What I See From Afar [time] => 2003-08-09 09:45:00 [hometext] => This was inspired by a tender young thing that I may write about in the near future...keep an eye out [bodytext] => So often, I watch her from a distance
unnoticed and perhaps unseen,
I am collecting many specific urges
some, I hope later to redeem

I'm building my courage, as we speak
and I am building up some steam
Because I am tired of only imagining
how good it looks without the jeans

I want to feel how it feels to be close
And the satisfaction it may bring
I want an opportunity to hold her
And to show her I see a queen

I want build on the moments in arms
To the passion waiting in the wings
I want to break her, and then I'll take her
make her try new incredible things

Striking eyes and smile she gives free
and they both are always bright
And, her body has curves that entice me
symmetry to seductively excite

She makes herself easy to undress with my eyes
Because her clothes are always tight
Indeed, Being so close to what I see from afar
will bring me incomparable delight

Now as every man, I have desires…
Desires she has the power to incite
these desires are constantly expanding
If I tried… they’d be hard to fight

She has found a way to get into me
Because she’s in my dreams at night
And my masculine desire is provoked
Whenever she’s in my line of sight

What I See From afar.

This poem is as good as they get..
---------------------------------------
All the writers tell you true,
The art of love is up to you,
To back away without even trying
is a shame that needn't be crying...

arthur1210,
That was an amazing poem! I just posted my first poem and it was also about secret love. I KNOW HOW IT FEELS! Your poem put into my mind that guys are going through the same thing I am. I can tell you really do love someone who doesn't know it. All I can say is if your poetry is any insight into who you are as a person- I'd say go for it! Tell her how you feel. If I was that girl I'd feel lucky to have a guy like you!
Once again, amazing poem- keep writing!

Your poem- I've read it twice so far. I can't get enough of it- so sad but yet so beautiful. Wow.
