Array ( [sid] => 21654 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => OUR CREATOR'S CARNEGIE FALL [time] => 2003-08-09 07:45:00 [hometext] => All my life I had painted pictures of the beautiful autumns in Colorado...but the poem just would never come. It took the death of my father to finally reach the depths of my heart....truly from the bottom of my heart came this poem! [bodytext] => My father died,
While leaves fluttered slowly
to the ground.
The music starts
I hear it's melodious sound.

Our Marvelous Creator
performs His Symphony
His Son is the Maestro,
Conducting each and every tree.

'Tis a blazing Colorful Sonata!
Red, orange, purples, yellowish green.
Each shade a different tone.
Illuminating "Aurora Borealis" scene!

Creations made only by God!
Mammoth trees like chairs.
Extend their leaves as instruments,
And little birds applaud!

Magnificent Gingko,
Separate keys for piano.
Invisible fingers play.
Adagio, staccato, and forte'

Hard durable Oak
plays "left-over" acorns,
like tamborines

Aspen eyes watch the notes.
Trembling poplar leaves,
silver shrieking piccolo,
Twisting in the breeze.

Brilliant Reds of Maple.
Antique Stradiavaris violins.
Strumming string quartet.
Orchestration 'ner forget!

Black Walnut Trumpets
bellowing elephant calls.
Wind instruments of brass.
Delicate strained glass!

Golden Willow Trombones
Sliding sounds of roar.
Deep tones of bass.
Loose leaves soar!

The Dogwood is splendid.
French horns extended.
Pine Trees watch enjoying the harmony.
Hoarding their needles......
Never letting them go free!!

Juniper Red Cedar.
Intricate fine strings
Many harps together cord....
Music played for our Lord!

Giant Sassafras,
bark is used for tea.
Bass Cello gives it's performance,
Without fee!

American Sycamore Leaves
Shapes of Bass Horn
Plays in background,
Weathering the storm!

Can you hear the cymbals?
Huge leaves of the Cottonwood.
Clashing hits to time.....
Percussions as only cymbals could!

Bass Drums keep rhythm in every tree.
Branches spontaneous release.
Brings boom after boom.
As instruments are set free!

Leaves numbering myriads,
gently float toward the earth.
Coverlets of confetti music.
Take their last bow
for all they are worth!

Awaiting a blanket of snow,
Their melodies die.....

LEAVING EMPTY CHAIRS
ACROSS THE SKY!

A creation of excellance..hidden for 18 years
------------------------------------
The only objection I could find
For I am a piano player,
An Orchestral backround might have been
for a beautiful piano prayer...
