In te trovo un coro maestoso
Come una canzone dell’incudine
Su cui forgia il mio destino.
Sei bella, come il muraglione
Per una cittadela coraggiosa,
Sei terribile: fatale come
Una schiera armata
Con suoi guerrieri furibondi:
Degna di tutte lodi.
La più amabile di mie melodie
Che risonava in note interminabili,
Dolce alla fine-eccheggiano di te
Tu, che sia una inspirazione bene
Sorgi su della sinfonia meraviglia
Che scrivo solo per tuo onore.

Ho verniciato tua forma
Sulla tela avanti a me
I accordi cromatici chesono nati
Dal poter d’un violino
Combinati con la forza molle
Di tromboni e l’ombre
Delle note fa il continuo
Come bambini piccoli
Così giovane, cosi vivace
Giocando in un giardino
Tra i fiori sull’erba verde-
Feconda; e fresca
Come la speranza nella primavera
Nei bisbigli del mio cuore
Come l’amore che io ho

Vedi, mio bene! Vedi ormai!
In te trovo un coro maestoso
