The day that the U.S.
Came under the gun

We all watched in horror
And some pondered why
How a nation so mighty
Could let so many die

Al-Qaieda was chosen
To shoulder the blame
Hey, Iraqi’s are Muslim
Hell, What’s in a name?

An “Axis of Evil”
The perfect excuse
To subject Arabic people
To yet further abuse

An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth
Good old Christian ideals
In the way of the truth

Iraq’s got chemical weapons
And warheads too
The U.S. knew this
Cause they gave them a few

The world said
What about Children
Who get killed in these wars
And the thousands of troops
Who’ll depart from our shores?

But our great Western leaders
Cast aside our concerns
For we don’t know what’s best
And we’re sure gonna learn

Some say it’s the oil
U.S. power and greed
A coalition of the willing?
Or are we just friends in need?

.....So the war, it was waged
We so called allies prevailed
But we’re yet to find weapons
So on that count we’ve failed

And how long will it take?
Is the question we ask
Seems that justification’s
Become quite a task

And if that task is beyond us
Will we admit our error?
For a mistake that’s this big
Can provoke only more terror

Now we’re left with dilemmas
Here’s just 2 to debate
Is the world any safer, and.....
Have we sealed our own fate?
