Of she who stands before herself, searching innocence and grace
Wearing no more than the whispers,of a cool evenings soft breeze
Self portrait before a mirror, yet not merely herself she sees

Listening ever closely, she takes in the rythmic call
Of the rustling Autumn leaves,as to the earth they gently fall
All about her presence, twinkling stars twirl from the sky
To rest so near her quietness, and then so sweetly sigh

Through her locks of chocolate brown, upon her skin so bare
The evening breeze sends forth its kiss, yet she is unaware
For there within the mirror, reflected in the glass of mist
Beckons he who holds her heart and owns her every kiss

Pondering the image, amazed, she falters in her dance
To step a little closer, and capture with her brush, romance
'Tis there before her very eyes, love so pure and whole
For there within the mirror, floats the sharer of her soul

He who holds her every dream, the one who blesses her with smiles
Has come to her this moonlit night,to be near her for a while
Far across the oceans blue,a distance much further than the eye
Yet he has only journeyed as far as her breath becomes a sigh

For he came from deep inside her, from her yearnings there within
And dewdrops held the traces of where his lips had touched her skin
Her canvas still sits empty, though her heart is full and whole
As so lovingly she gazes.......into the reflection of her soul [comments] => 11 [counter] => 210 [topic] => 2 [informant] => LovingWhispers [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

LovingWhispers,
How very senuous. You are telling from your heart, and from every pore. You are very much in love....open every door! Only a person in love could possibly put it down so exquisitely and help us feel it with you!
Just lovely, Just lovely.
Enjoyed every minute of it!
loving critters

If this is the case to it is to be
I'd want you not your love, to ever see
He brings you such inspiration from across the sea
And to most your poems he is the key!!!!!

How sad it would be for Paul-Remy
And to all the YPDC family
If you stopped writing your poetry
I'm sure, I'm sure they all agree!!

nah, nothing should stop in the way of love like this, not even poetry. But hope you never stop writing! Lovely poem, as always!

Beautiful piece and brilliantly written. It isn't easy to maintain a rhyming piece without losing something along the way.
Lovely piece.

Threre are no words to discribe what this does to my poor heart......you would have to look into my eyes to see how this poem and you effect me. Roses...every rose that ever bloomed at your feet
