Array ( [sid] => 21396 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => That Girl [time] => 2003-08-02 23:35:00 [hometext] => i just starting writing.....and this is what i came up with.......im not sure if its good or not, im counting on all of u to let me know..... [bodytext] => it was cold outside
she was on her own
her feet were numb
from all the snow
she started to cry
and wondered why
why did mommy
leave me here to die?
she begged to stay
she cried and wailed
it did no good
all it got her
was skin cold and pale
that little girl
had been bad
and her punishment
was very sad
that little girl
was sorry for everything she'd done
but it was too late
apologies were useless
she longed
for the warmth of her bed
and the humming of her fan
she slept in a dark alley
with some old newspaper
as a blanket.....
if she was lucky
you could look in her eyes
and see
she had been through hell
but u didn't do a thing to help
you were just like the others
you felt sorry
looking at her
so why did you keep walking?
now this girl
is frozen stiff
she lies dead
and her eyes no longer shine
with that glow of life
instead they are cold and blank
she asked for your help
you saw the tears
which constantly filled her eyes
all she wanted
was to be loved
to know that some one cared
but you ignored that frail girl
just kept walking
forgot her.....
until u saw the news
that cold dark night............. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 167 [topic] => 43 [informant] => eeka_taquito [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
