So symbolic as this,
You look at this place,
That you're soon going to miss.

You wonder what you'll do,
And exactly where you'll be.
You wonder if you'll live,
To be only twenty-three.

You've been waiting for this moment,
This one and final day,
That'll you'll finally be out on your own,
And live so far away.

You said you hated her,
And that you once loved him,
But instead you started loving her
And started hating him.

Your dreams you've dreamed,
To the extent of forever,
The feeling you get,
When you know that it's over.

The tears that you cry,
When you hug a dear friend,
The pounding of your heart,
When you fear it's the end.

The friends that you've met,
Through out these four years,
The enemies you created,
Are now sharing your tears.

You've touched many lives,
And left footprints in hearts,
Never did you think,
that you'd soon have to part.

When apart of you life,
Is near at it's end,
It's a new part that follows,
And a journey begins.

You'll leave your life behind at home,
You'll keep pictures in your head,
You'll keep memories stacked up in boxes,
And forget nasty things you've said.

You embark on a journey,
A quest in which you strive,
As you set foot out of high school,
And another in life.

Good luck in your life
Ain't life a tough strife
Bless thee well,
and may you be the one
That lives to be
a hundred-and-twenty-one.

Wonderfully written.
