Searching For The Light

Contributed by squeesh on Friday, 1st August 2003 @ 09:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I'm searching for the light
Through this thick endless fog
I'm running from the past
And stumbling into the future
Seeking for guidence
Finding lost advice
Falling off this ledge
Flying in hopless dreams
Dead on the inside
Trying to live with what I've got
I'm drowning in my own tears
And attempting to keep this smile on my face
Every day gets harder
To drag myself out of bed
And pretend I'm glad to be here
This silence I've created
Is killing me slowly
I'm jumping from shadow to shadow
Yet seeking this blessid light
As my world turns gray
I feel there's not much left to do
But sit here torchured
Waiting for death to creep around the corner

Hey, thanks for commenting on my song 'The Better Life's For Me'.

Anyway regarding your poem, it sounds good but I do feel you are going through the motions. Hope you'll be ok. Remember what my song promotes: be optimistic. You can make it pal. Everything's gonna be allright

Love:
Ronald

the light started searching for you long before you even thought of looking.
everyone tries to be so dark, but without light, there would be no darkness.
hold on, stay true, sooner or later Jesus will find you.
peace+
