Array ( [sid] => 21306 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Terrible Silence [time] => 2003-07-31 19:05:00 [hometext] => This poem I don't really know what to say about it. A flow of words, things that constantly hover in my mind. What else could I do but write it out. I really really like this and I believe all of you will too.

X [bodytext] => "Terrible Silence"

I need you close to sing
it's the same beginning
it's the same old same old song
nothing has changed
you are so far away
what could i do without your face
i remember the way you used to taste
if only i could go back to those days
with your silky skin and the way i could make your legs shake
but i sit up and watch the sun rise today
withness the beauty flourish and fade
watch as the mezmerising red
slowly turns to grey
and everything beautiful now decays without your face
shielded by my curse
no one can see whats wrong with me
filled with so much hate
so much pain
why did things happen this way
deep down inside i feel the scream
a terrible silence keeps it this way
i need you close to sing
it the same beginning
its the same old same old song
nothing has changed
no matter where it stops
i realize who we are
these shattered pieces cut into my hands
leaving me broken
with never-ending scars [comments] => 5 [counter] => 293 [topic] => 48 [informant] => exiled [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Your right... I think people will like it too.... this poem is very creative, and very personal at the same time....there is alot of experiance in these words.... wisdom I have yet to learn, emotions I have yet to taste. All I can say is you are forever as young as you want to be in your heart... what you see, is not always what is in front of you. I'm glad you let this one slip out onto paper... bless you for sharing such personal emotions.
