I hope you like it hopefully it'll be less controversial than my previous one. Lv a comment! * [bodytext] => I am a broken, worthless vessel
I'm drowning in my Pool of Tears
Dying in my Valley of Fear
These depression spawned tears
That constantly trickle from me
They take everything from me
All my dreams and aspirations
All I used to be and all I'll NEVER be
My energy is sapped and drained

In my emptiness, I grasp some jagged metal
And make a fist around it
As I hold back my plaintive, pathetic screams
Until the blood drips from my hand
And makes its way down my scarred arm
I let myself go insane
Trying to chase away my demons and the intense pain
I sag to the ground and beckon heavenward
As I plead to be taken away

I stagger onto a highway
A cars cold metal I long to taste
I see headlights framing me like a frozen deer
It comes closer and plows right through me
I realize I am only a wraith lacerated and muddy
I lift my winged arms to fly away,
But comprehend they are only my rags
I stagger away into a ditch
Hopefully I will die a forgotten wretch

wow... great poem... i loved the last line... don't worry about it being contraversial, write your poems for yourself, eventually people will become more open minded...~Apryl
