Confused and lost
Not knowing where I was
For the second time in my life
I was scared
I tried to push it aside
I just couldnt let go
I couldnt hide
The fear inside rose slow
I was not alone
I felt alot of pain and sadness
As tears rolled off my face
I wondered

This has such a unique feel to it... gentle, soft, but full of pain. You've got me in a mood now, lol. Excellently written!

sounds honest and well expressed
most of us touch this point at times.
My tip is; if your time has come
"fear", would be the worst way to depart
you knever know what's on the other side,
you want to go with a smile when the time comes.

I can really empathise
and it will come as no surprise
that I feel this way myself
most every morning

When I wake my thoughts are weighty
no surprise I'm nearly eighty
and I shed a tear or two
whilst I am yawning

Still it's not bad in a way
I've been given another day
and ignore the aches and pains
as I arise

Though I'm feeling pale and wan
I'm still glad I haven't gone
and survey my lovely garden
with young eyes.
