Array ( [sid] => 21208 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Confusing Faith [time] => 2003-07-29 18:05:00 [hometext] => I am always so confused about everything...This is just another rambling about something I don't understand [bodytext] => Always afraid
Never at ease
Longing and hoping
To somehow believe

My faith has faded
My heart is now black
So many questions
The truth I lack

The Lord is near
I can feel his grace
But to truly believe
I must see his face

Confused and afraid
I search for light
My heart is not pure
But I'm willing to fight

Temptation has risen
My sins are a strife
Hoping and praying
For a Christian life

So close to God
Yet so far away
Why is it so hard?
To just OBEY

To serve the Lord
To follow his ways
To express my love
For all of my days

My mind says no
My heart says yes
Is it really possible?
Should I just confess?

Should I worship a man
That I cannot see
And praise the Lord
Who died for me?

Should I follow my heart
And just believe
That eternity with him
Is the gift I'll receive

So as long as I live
I will continue to cry
Confused about God
Till the day that I die

And by then I'll know
But it will be too late
So I'm beginning to accept
My hellish fate

hmm.. sounds to me you know the answer to your dilema within' your heart, how about going out into the world around you, looking at the earth, the skies, a place where you may find peace, closing your eyes...... let the answers come to you, washing over your soul...... hugs n' love nessa

Dont fear! Trust is a thing that doesn't come naturally for those of our generation, but its just our fault not His!
