It must be 3 or 4 million years since our species developed intelligence and imagination beyond it's animal origins.

In all that time we have not changed very much. We rape the planet, we kill eachother
and not once has "god" done anything to change us.

Surely we have learned by now that it's no use asking to be changed. We have to change ourselves

We have repeatedly created god after god,
each one being the one true God only to find that others disagreed saying theirs was the one true god. All these gods produced was "Holy" wars. We have to stop repeating our mistakes over and over again

The trouble is that we create these gods in our own image forgetting that The creating force existed before the universe began and is not of the same substance as the universe it created. Having set it up with a set of immutable laws they can't be changed. That is one and only guarantee we have.
(see my very first poem "Praying can't change the rules")

Hi Wrybod,
You sound like a believer,welcome,
but don't forget what God word said
"that the earth is the lord and the fullness there of".
God give us(Men) dominion power over the earth, not another human being.
We kill each other because we don't understand why we are here.
God made us with a free will, that's why the bible says" choose ye this day
whom ye shall serve".People need to pray and understand .
Many persons only think of the physcial(flesh),but we are more than just flesh and blood. We are made in the image of God:spirit, soul and body.We have to want to change remember repent mean to change the way we think. Then and only then can we experience true joy.I agree we can and should not change God's laws;.lets continue to pray for each and every one .
