In a crowded room,
Nothing makes sense,
I'm so messed up.

What I do is neither,
Wrong or right,
It's just what is,
And is; isn't in sight.

I sit here and I stare,
Comparing my life to others,
It seems so oppostite,
I admire their accomplishments.

They're on top,
All the attention is on them,
I sit here fallen,
Lost and confused.

So what makes them so special,
The plaque on the wall?
The awards they won?
Everything they did- could I have done better?

If I just tried,
Stopped my hate,
Learned and did well,
hmm, that's just not the way.

But they're not the best,
I hate their ways,
They seem screwed up,
To plain-too the same.

I hate their world,
I hate their believes,
This *****-hole stays,
And their simple ways.

It's never over,
I never get pride,
All I do is,
Sit; wait on the side.

I've never been first,
Never in the spot light,
I watched them sparkle,
In the circle bright light.

So why me here alone,
In a crowded room?
Where nothing makes sense,
And it's all messed up?

Because I was put here,
To stop me hateful ways,
By the people who said they loved me;
The people I hate.

Lost in the dark,
Only wanted some pride,
I'm stuck here with no one,
By my side.

I hate THEM too. But you know what? They're not so great. :P Just be you, don't try to be what you think everyone would want you to be. You may feel like you get no pride or respect, but could you be proud of yourself if you were trying to fit into someone else's mold?
