Array ( [sid] => 21010 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Mr. Godding [time] => 2003-07-26 07:35:00 [hometext] => This is just a poem I had to write for a workshop. [bodytext] => You're already leaving and I haven't even said a word
Punching everything I said accompanied with your uncivil hands chocking make
God you make me feel so pathetic now
Across the skyline maybe you could find me there
Cause It seems like thats the place that you had put me
Because I hadn't planned on this happening, walking along the canal throwing rocks into the mucky water
Maybe I should get some help you know? You know look out to someone
Maybe I should go to the desert and let your piercing blue eyes dry out
Or maybe I'll sleep in the garage and try and forget you
And burn your ocean blue eyes with my pride
Or maybe I could dissolve your eyes into a glass of bruisened watter
Or maybe travel the abyss of the sea to drown your provoking smile
Theres something different about tonight you know?
Remember when we sped across that highway in your corvette?
Windows down as the crispy Salt Lake air ran behind us?
Or that time when we went to the neighborhood playground
And you scarred your head-
And I hate you for what you've done to me
But I'm still thinking about you
But your neighborhood seems so bitter, and your doorbell all so shallow
I'm driving to your house and its 7 in the morning
I've been here before but since you're there I feel much colder
Maybe the smoke of my tears will suffocate you
Maybe the sun can become your token of sadness forever
The next time I see you I'll pass the pain off
My everything is so close to you
But I'll never let you take it
Its the red corvette again and my heart is melting
Sunken walls have become between us once and for all
Our eyes pierced each other again
Oh no I'm falling again [comments] => 1 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 22 [informant] => SpreadYourWings [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
