Array ( [sid] => 20926 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Struggle not to grieve [time] => 2003-07-24 22:45:00 [hometext] => This poem is also a song of mine about how I try not to be defeated by life's issues. [bodytext] => I feel it, Feel my head pounding my heart isn't
beating the way it should be sounding. I know it, know what you're coming to do
coming to tell me it was fun but know we're
through
Everything I'm made of is going numb, how could I believe you loved me, how could I be so dumb
It's finally happening I can't breath, I'm trying not to hear you, I struggle not to grieve
I knew this would happen, again I am decieved
I tried not to get too close with you, and now I struggle not to grieve
Scratching again to find my way out of this hole, feel it again my heart turns black as coal
Screaming loud as my veins fill with ice
I can't shake it off , so I must suffice [comments] => 3 [counter] => 215 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Grae [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Oh, the futility and the tragedy in this poem is just wonderful. I could feel all those emotions, and must let you know....I've been there, and please don't blame yourself! You trusted, and that was good, you didn't lose, he did. Who would want someone like him anyway. It's too bad he can move on and torture another trusting soul. Feel sorry for her, you're rid of him...be glad you survived alive!

I agree with lovingcritters. This poem shows your pain and I hope that it has eased.
