But some are meant to fall,
It’s a survival of the reality of us all.
But who am I to say,
You can’t tell them how live, so lose your empathy.

You can’t touch them the way you wanted,
And maybe not at all, but answer what I’ve said,
Are some things worthy of a never-ending try for ascension,
Walking in a faith that has new rules to believe in?

Not a faith that has already been set,
But rules that you make yourself and you’re not done as of yet.
It’s that one more breath after that one last breath.
Each supposed to be your last but you always have one left.

So in this you’re never done.
No matter what, starting back at one.
Tonight you can’t be alone,
And you’ve got no where to go.

So leave the lights on,
Even though no one is home.
Leave them on for me,
Or someone who runs from the stars and sun of their own reality.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
