What do you say I imagine my dreams?
Ten years have passed since we left spoke
And now I'm finally out of your reach
I waited and waited and waited
But you let me fall through your fingers
Kinda funny isnt it?
Cause thats where I used to be wrapped around
But one night I left your grasp,
I left without a sound.
That's the night I told you I loved you
To you it's another joke
I'm not all laughs this time
So I write one last stupid rhyme
And as how I ask how your day was,
And how you've been
I slowly slit my wrists and dine on wine
And a bottle of Vicadin
Change into my Sunday's best
Because I want to look pretty
When mom and dad see me at my eternal rest.
My one last wish to God
As I've given up the will to survive
Is that when they rush me to the hospital
I'll be dead when I arrive
But God works in mysterious ways,
He chose to save me that night
He decided to cut me a deal
If I finally say this is enough
He'll see me through all this rough stuff
Ok God, you've got a deal
Here's a broken heart for you to heal
Awaken from this daydream
Not fantasizing anymore
I know I'll never give you up,
But hey, that's what dreams are for. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 22 [informant] => TeenageEmoGirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
