Pain unlocks the door and seeps
Through the wounded pores and peeps
Into her broken mind and speaks
To her blistered soul that she keeps,
Reminds her of the pain so deep.

Vain strenuous efforts to have some peace,
Distorted dreams give her the creeps,
Snarling darkness emits reek
Of bitter memories, gloomy eyes weep,
Everything looks so hazy and bleak,
Twists her head and makes it reel.

And before she starts to, the word ‘worse’, feel,
Slowly prays again and tries to get some sleep.

Beautiful poem Saira. I myself find that I am the most naive to my feelings at night whilst lying in bed. Your poem deeply touched me for that reason. Thank you...

Dear Saira,
I was deeply moved by your description of words, Saira. It amazes me that you are so well read, and your vocabulary has such extention that you can rhyme almost ever single word. Terrific job! Try practicing "Positive" thinking. That has always helped me. Perhaps the reason we think such negative thoughts at night is because we are alone, and we are tired from the stress of the day! When a negative thought pops into your head, immediately replace it with a beautiful thought! Or place yourself in a gorgeous setting, such as a whole hillside of sunflowers on a warm sunny day! That's what I do, and it really works. Try it.
Sad, but so real I could feel your every emotion.
Warm Poetric Love,
Lovingcritters
