to nestle in this place
only to be forever reminded
with a deafening slap in the face
wish me to forgive the past
but you don’t play fair, my love
I’ve been left out with the trash
just a remnant of your dove
love me, yes, I believe it’s true
I feel it from your heart
but respect me you will never do
I knew this from the start
and so with my pathetic prose
I ready for my fate
because I love you just that much
my forever constant mate

looking back upon this era
my eyes fill up with tears
