Gives you odds to ignore,
There's no way to win,
You control not the spin.
I'm sure you will find
When you play the game blind
Permutation and such rule the mind.

By this it is meant
Just money for rent
When you up to machines
You're just playing for beans,
There's no way to win
The odds are so thin,
Calculation and such rule the fin.

Come on, playing fool,
You're going against rules
They were set long before
you walked in the door
The odds that are given
have already been striven
To take the bestowal
From your generous live-in.

Go not to sharp city
Where gambling's a pity
Where winning of dough
Is considered Tabeau
Give nickel and dimey,
To a guy who's named Hymie
For Your-Poetry poets
whose minds have become rhimey.

The good deed we need,
Is a good deed, indeed.
For poets are people, too... [comments] => 4 [counter] => 153 [topic] => 7 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

If dollar I had, then dollar I'd give
To everyone, as long as I live.
I don't work in the states
And I am not Bill Gates
All I am is a boy on the skates.

My father is jobless
But in him there's noblesse
So Gambling we don't
As we stay on the front.

All I can give are small words like these
They take effect on the people I please.
