Isn't that why there are so many broken laws.

I'll tell you why - because people have no dreams,
And they want yours so they turn mean.
I'll tell you why - because they do cry,
To make themselves feel better they lie.
I'll tell you why they take belongings of another,
because they are jealous of the other.
I'll tell you why-it stems from pain and it's a thrill,
That is why some people kill.
I'll tell you why there are so many broken laws,

Tell me why people are so mean,
They want to take away my dreams.
Tell me why that people tell lies,
That only makes me want to cry.
Tell me why people are jealous of each other,
