With the wind in my hair, I set sail,
To a destination I know well.
Just Mother Nature and I,
Into the wind we will fly.
Away from all troubles and cares,
The bright horizon we soon be near.
Sunday mornings are my time for fun,
No part of the normal rat race run.
Sailing as far as the wind will blow,
Who’s with me? Who like to go?

I'd like to go if you let me tack
I'd zig to the right than left to get back,
The sloop would then heel
and the center board hold,
are we atilt over 20 degrees bold.?

I kind of get scared if a shift in the wind
flutters the sail and a jibes does begin
the boom shoots across
and the jib flaps abreeze
That's never the point when to start into sneeze.

We turn from the wind with the spinnaker
port
It'll soon be the time for a brandy to snort
Homeward we go
the 'range' shows us in,
Get hose and the bucket, let cleaning begin...
