Leaving stains of emptiness, from my heart that brings no good
Turning from the memories, facing what must be held for real
Can't take anymore of last goodbyes, or whatever makes me feel

From somewhere calls the deep regret,of ever having dreams
For all my wandering fantasies, have shattered at the seams
Colours spray across the room, and paint a picture of remorse
That's what becomes of a heart, with an ever revolving door

Like a poison I will bring you down, have you doubled up in pain
Though I meant to take it all myself, somehow I still remain
Yet you will fall a thousand deaths,if you should share my wine
But to bring your heart to ruin was never a plan of mine

Crumpled beside me on the floor, lay a hundred thousand words
Some were a feast for hungry eyes, others were for the birds
This room so deathly quiet,as the darkest of pain attacks
I take leave of breath and senses,as my colours all turn black [comments] => 5 [counter] => 162 [topic] => 13 [informant] => LovingWhispers [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

The thirsty will drink whatever they find!
Sometimes a loving heart is wasted in the rush
during the journey through regret and turmoil.
Potent words lead to vivid imagery,
'revolving door' terrific.
