Looking up at the sky
When I look above
All I think is why
Why am I not good enough
What do I have to breathe for
Can't see the point
Or use of living anymore
The sky turns dark,
The sun's no longer there,
I can't breathe
Black smoke fills the air
I gasp for a breath,
And fall to the ground,
There is no movement,
There is no sound.
I rise to the sky,
Rushing up fast,
And as I look down,
My view is vast.
I see everything,
All that I've left behind,
Tears rushed down my face,
Thoughts rushed through my mind.
I don't want to leave,
Don't take me now.
I want to go back,
I don't know how.
I begin to cough,
And gasp for a breath,
I fall back down,
I fall to my death.
As I land back,
I feel the pains,
Rush through my body,
Rush through my veins.
I hear all the commotion,
All around me,
I can hear, I can feel,
And everything I can see.
Then I wake up,
It was all just a dream,
The candle is lit,
Above it a beam.
A beam of light,
Shining everywhere,
And from the lit candle,
Black smoke poured in the air.
I blew the candle out,
The smoke ceased to be,
And with a smile,
I knew I saved me. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 148 [topic] => 36 [informant] => TeenageEmoGirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )
