Array ( [sid] => 20417 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Pocketful Of Lies [time] => 2003-07-14 19:05:00 [hometext] => This poem is an expression of the beast burried within, let out by someone... [bodytext] => You think you know just who you are,
A glimpse in a cracked mirror
but I am the product of your man made material

That vibrant flicker in your eyes,
The sparks I killed that still can't die
You're just a pocketful of lies

My words bleed like the stinging stye burried beneath your minds eye
you like to think and wonder why...
My inadequacy has left you with an eyeful of optical illusion

So charcoled lies is what makes up your brain
Your cerebelum is twisted and a bit insane
I was always your concious and your guilt
Now just coverd in filth
For the life you live that you can not fill

That flcker still left in your eyes
The sparks I killed that will slowly die
Just sitting and watching this time pass by

Bare cold and naked in a tub full of lies
Our flesh pressed together, the lover's despised
look in the mirror and tell me who you are
I'm tatterd, torn, and broken
and all I see are scars
For the man you want to be
and for the man you got me to see
This kerosene will feed my fire
Until I burn you free

This old flame in your eyes?
I watch it as it slowly dies
You were just a pocketful of lies
