[bodytext] => I rose to watch a tear roll down my lovers cheek this morning,
He was mourning, for the life that I could never live or give
They've all told me, You reep what you sew,
but no one knows of this intricat web we've wove
Love ridden with a concious of guilt-
To live or to kill?
Tell me, and let your tongue speak of truth-What is it that you want to do?
Put in these hands the decision of pension,
The one that ended in bloody incision.
Pulling my heart in so many wrong directions-
Left awake to dream of transluscent photo albulms, all the lost keepsake lockets and boxes....
Now is truly the time of turmoil
Knowing that milk was rotten and spoiled
The terrain was that rugged foreign soil-
I should've traveld to with you
Love was all I ever meant to live or give.
Creation to my destruction are the patterns every other life has followed
Left to wade in the sea of sorrow was the life that I gave no tommorow.
I see your tears raining here-
For the life that I could never live nor give. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 21 [informant] => JadedSunshine [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 2 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Dear JadedSunshine,
I believe it must be about abortion also. I've talked to many women now that had wished they could do it all over again, and save the life of their child!
How tragic, and with much feeling. Tied my stomach into knots, and that's wonderful when a Poet can transmit that much feeling into words. You are certainly a "Word Wizard" JS.....and I look forward to reading more and more of your wonderfully "felt" poems from the heart!
