[bodytext] => I knew of you twelve months ago, The words still ring out so loudly, Of how you said you loved me so, Before we ever met, I gave to you my heart, I was so unsure, Whether to meet or not. So much joy ran through my heart, With all the words you said, I gave in to my inhibitions, I gave in to all my walls, You slowly crumbled all the barriers, That I'd gradually put up.. Our first meeting was a pleasure, It was something I didn't expect, The love you gave came freely, I could feel it in my heart. We talked about our future, How once things were said and done, You'd move down here with me, Our love would be united, For always.. The months went by, I still believed, All your love was true, That I was your only rose. You went away overseas, It's something you needed to do, You asked me to wait for you, I waited all the while. Along the way you'd promised things, Not only just to me, To a little eight year old boy, But those promises came undone. You hardly ever talk to me any more, One minute your on here, I go to utter words, Before the words are out, You're already gone. Its like I am of no importance to you, Just a toy to play with when ever you're bored, Well I'm sorry babe, I simply can't take this any more. I'm guarding my heart much more carefully, Even closer than before, I've wrapped it up in cotton wool, And all the barriers are back up. I'll not let another man hurt me, You see my heart is already broken in two, I don't think you can begin to understand, Just how much love this lady has for you. I'll not call you on the phone again, Maybe thats what drove you away, I was only ever concerned dear, I needed to know you were okay. I'll not contact you on here dear, To tell you what I've been doing, I'll not be concerned of your health, Or say hello when your on. I'll always love you deeply and truely, But the fact now is from you to me, The love between the two of us is dead.
