By Ashraf Gohar Goreja

What should I do,
With this broken heart?
And thousands of shattered dreams;
Which suddenly collapsed
With perfidious
Simmering
Incurable, melting time.

Why you are trying to escape?
O you, cowardly,
Forsaken, and recreant
Remnant of a broken heart.
From those priceless
Living memories
Once you wishfully amassed
As an adorable
Worthy thought,
Of your precious
And beauteous belove.
Though, it was
Surely a contrived love.

Elude,
If you could,
And flee from the bond
Of enduring fate;
Destined upon you by our Lord.
Respond.
If you should
Hardly you understood,
Depart,
From eternal,
Bitter truth.
But never you would.
Once again,
Take a fresh start
Compose yourself,
For you are a part
Of a broken heart.

You are most welcome:-)
Regarding publishing my poems, I never thought about it (though it's a good idea) nor ever tried to find out any Pakistani English magazine (will try to look for it). But am sure there must be one or some.
Best wishes!
Saira
