to madness, bereft of guilt
my dagger poised at your ivory throat
plunged in up to the hilt
passionately spurting
your blood, it floods the moors
never to be set free, from my destiny
to kill and spill the blood of whores

broken-heart avenger
agony dispenser
the splitter of throats and thighs
the price you pay
for the games you play
and all your ***** lies

a psychopath
i scheme and dream
of your impending death
alone on the moors
where i lure the whores
and hack and slash 'til there's Nothing Left

Nothing Left of you

you were
a jewel in the dead garden
a diamond in the sand
love, perfection, happiness
all held within my hand

careless and giddy with new found joy
i let you slip away
your wicked charms led you to other arms
and our love died that day

and you, too, died that day

kneeling by your body
your throat open like a shallow grave
and even in your death, my love
i still remain a slave
to memories that know no sleep
and regret that will not die
on my knees in the rain
that pours down like this pain
i plead forgiveness to a godless sky

age ushers in wisdom
now, old and broken, i understand
that i've been dead ever since the day
the blood of love forever stained my hands
every day, i do regret
killing you, the final whore
and every night, by the pale moonlight
my dreams return me to the moors
i walk amongst the unmarked graves
that i filled with blood smeared glee
arriving at last, to this scar of my past
where i wept as i watched you bleed

growing old and nearing death
i still reflect on my time with you
and though my body still clings to life
i buried my heart with you
yes, on those moors of misery
i killed myself through you [comments] => 6 [counter] => 160 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Cancer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
