Array ( [sid] => 20219 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => The Last Goodbye [time] => 2003-07-10 08:05:00 [hometext] => I wrote this poem because someone in my family that I am close to now tried to commit suicide. After it was all over with, I became fascinated with it and decided to write about it. [bodytext] => What's the point of living?
You're going to die anyway.
I'm sick of all the giving,
Even though it's sad to say.
My relationships never work out,
No matter how hard I try.
I'd rather not live in doubt,
But much rather die.
I act like I'm happy, but no one
Can imagine the pain inside.
That's it. I'm done.
No more lonely nights to cry.
All I hear is screaming,
Everyday and every night.
I don't understand
Why my family has to fight.
I guess this is it.
This is where it all ends.
It'll be over in a little bit,
So goodbye to all my family and friends. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 208 [topic] => 36 [informant] => krazed_AnGeL101 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

very good write, you have captured the despondency that could lead to such an act

This was a good write. Suicide is not something that most want to talk about. Is it a sin or did God expect such a thing when he gave the people such difficulties? No one will truely know if suicide is a sin but we know what pushes people to the edge. If we try to help relieve some of the pain people are going through and not add to their pain then maybe suicide will not be so common. `day`
